Good morning --

I'd like to set up a hyperlink to a specific location in a separate document
on the company Intranet. For example, not just the HR policies, but a
specific location in that document. Is that possible?

You should be able to do that using a link to a bookmark in the HR document.
Start by bookmarking the location. Then, insert a link to the bookmark in
that file.

I can't give more specific instructions without knowing which version of
Word your using.
