Bullets and Indentation - Changes automatically
Hello
I have a document that is used by multiple users. I have a style for numbering. The numbering has an indent of -1.5, so it looks as if it's in the margin. I have 2 problems 1. when I double click on number itself the indentation changes to 0 2. when other users open the document, the indentation automatically changes to 0 even without double-clicking on it. I am using Word 2003. Any ideas as to why this happening? All help most welcome. Thanks |

Bullets and Indentation - Changes automatically
See if the "Automatically update document styles" option is selected in Tools
| Templates and Add-Ins. If it is, clear it. Also, note that you must carefully adjust the indentation via the numbering options, not via the Paragraph dialog box, for numbered lists. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "ColG" wrote: Hello I have a document that is used by multiple users.
