Default Evelope printing !#@$%!^ in Word 2007

A few days ago, I was printing an address in the evelope section of Word
2007. Instead of printing out the sender's address, it printed out all
symbols (ex. *(^%#*& ) instead. I haven't done anything to Word, nor have I
added anything to my Windows XP machine. Printing out a document in Word is
fine. This only happens when I try and print out a sender's address on an
evelope. How can I fix this?

I had your same printing problem. It's caused by the new Calibri font that
is not yet in the print driver for your printer. See you can download a
current print driver from their website. Or else, click on the "options"
button when printing an envelope and change the font for the address to Times
New Roman. That fixed my problem. Be sure to click "Default" after you
change the font so it stays.

You should be able to print any TrueType font to any printer capable of
printing graphics by checking the box in the printer Properties for
"Download TrueType fonts as soft fonts/bitmaps/whatever."
