The expanded styles menu in my present instance of Word floats over the
document. I want it to dock to the right of the document and be beside it, not floating over it so that I can leave that menu open all the time. I have it that way in my other Word installations, but cannot remember how I accomplished that. How do I get it to dock the the right of the document window. I understand that reduces the size of the document window, but I use styles so extensively that I need that window open and not in the way of seeing the document. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Dan,
Generally, grabbing the title bar of a Word task pane with the mouse, then drag it and 'slam' it into one of the edges of the screen/Word app window should dock it for you. =========== "WordsmithDan" wrote in message news ![]() document. Thanks. I actually dragged it outside the scrollbar, and that docked it.
