Hi,
I'm using MS Word 2003 on WinXP. I'm trying to create numbered headings within my document so that I can create a table of contents. I succeeded in creating headings including 6.1.2 Main page (with heading style 4) and I want to now create a new heading 6.1.2.1 Configure Application (with heading style 5). But here is where things go wrong. When I starting typing "6.1.2.1 Configure Application", it treats it as text, instead of a numbered heading. What do I need to do to get this text numbered properly and have Word recognize it as a style 5 heading? Thanks, - Dave |
