I have a table of contents that spans a couple of pages. On the first
page I have a heading "Table of Contents". On the subsequent pages for the TOC I would like the heading "Table of Contents cont'd" but do not know how to do this. I thought about page headers but this is not really dynamic. Can anyone suggest a possible solution please. |

If you place the TOC in a separate Word section and then format the section
to have a "Different first page" (Page Setup dialog box) you can leave the first page header blank and type "Table of Contents continued" in the main header. Don't forget to unlink headers.
