Links are not working for downloading Office 2003 templates. I'm trying to
download a single fax template but unable. Other downloads (i.e.: applications/tools from Office 2003 site) are working. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas why this is occurring? Never had a problem before. |

Not sure what you mean by "not working". As a guess, try clearing your web
browser's cache (for example, in Internet Explorer, click on Tools | Internet Options | General | Delete Files). "K. Kaur" wrote: Links are not working for downloading Office 2003 templates. Hello garfield-n-odie,
"Not-working" as in unable to download any templates. This machine is as clean as a whistle. The cache is cleaned upon closing the window and I run Acronis after every web session without fail. There's not a crumb left. This is the link to the particular template I am trying to download - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...389821033.aspx As mentioned before, I've never encountered a problem, and I've been d/l templates for years from the MS site. I can not access the page for reporting problems with the website either. Very strange... "garfield-n-odie" wrote: Not sure what you mean by "not working". Hi, H. Kaur. That link works for me. "Not working" as in does Word or
your browser stop responding when you click on the link, or does Word or your browser close when you click on the link, or do you get an error message (and if so, what does the error message say?)? As another guess, if you are using a firewall, add the Office site to your list of trusted sites and/or allow Office to access the internet. H. Hello garfield-n-odie,
Thank you for your replies. MS Office is already in my trusted zone (office.microsoft.com) along with *.microsoft.com, windowsupdate.com, and download.windowsupdate.com. However, the d/l is still not working. Nothing crashes. After clicking on the "Download now" link, the page sits there doing nothing. No errors on the page or in Event Viewer. I've enabled scripting, FW is set to permit all for MS applications, SP2 pop-up stopper turned off, managed add-ons enabled for MS, cookies enabled, etc... I can download applications (i.e.: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en) but no templates. Needless to say I'm baffled. I created my own template at this point, but I would like to straighten this out as I use PP and Publisher templates as well both of which can not be d/l along with word. Don't beat your head against the wall - I've already done that with no success. ![]() "garfield-n-odie" wrote: Hi, H. Kaur. That link works for me. Well, I'm stumped too. Sounds to me like you did everything right.
Maybe someone else will come along with a better suggestion. H. Kaur wrote: Hello garfield-n-odie, Thank you for your replies.
