I have Word 2002. I received an error message telling me to uninstall and
reinstall. I have done this before. I have my disk and my product key handy. But today, I tried to install it and it now says the key is invalid? How do I correct that? |

I am really surprised to hear that you got an error message telling you to
uninstall the software. That is a very unlikely thing to have to do. Next time, see the article "Problems opening Word" at: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm In the meantime, see the Knowledge Base article ""Invalid product key" error message when you start an Office 2003 program after you install Office Professional Edition 2003" at: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=836178 -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Computer challenged" Computer wrote in message ...
