Caption cross reference with non breaking space
I have a document with many figures. These figures have captions. I reference
these captions throughout the document. The problem is some of the cross references have the text "Figure" on one line and the number on the other. How can I prevent this from happening? Thanks in advance for your time on this matter. |

Try Ctrl+Shift+Space to create a nonbreaking space.

Caption cross reference with non breaking space
Yes this works, however, when I refresh the document, the nonbreaking space
is removed from the cross reference. Any thoughts why? "bronxbabe" wrote: Try Ctrl+Shift+Space to create a nonbreaking space. "GDCross" wrote: I have a document with many figures.
