Depending on which MS Word document that I open first, all of my MS Word
documents take on the same properties of the document that I opened first. Example: If I open document 2 first and the open document 1... regardless of formatting (but both documents have different formatting/font), document 1 will change it's formatting to look like document 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get work done and it's impeding my progress. |

Are you using separate templates for the documents?
If not, check both of the following: In Tools/options under the edit tab, make sure keep track of formatting is unchecked. For your styles, on the first window of the modify style option, ensure that the Automatically update is unchecked.
