When I copy whole numbers from Word to Excel, they change to exponents...

Default How do I copy numbers from Word to Excel?

It's not a Word question but an Excel one. Paste your data into Excel and
then change the format of those cells.

When I right click on the pasted cells, I do not get the option Format the
newly pasted cells.

Default How do I copy numbers from Word to Excel?

Are the "numbers" you're pasting in more than 11 digits? General formatting
will display them exponentially by default.

Go to Format Cells, select Number, Accounting, Percent or Currency unless
you're using Office 2007. In Excel 2007 go to the Home tab of the Ribbon -
Number group then open the list displaying General & pick from there.
