I have 150 page document in Word 2003. Once the page numbers reach 38, the
next page should read 39, but it reads page one. |

There is evidently a section break between the pages, with the numbers
restarting at 1 in the new section. In the section that restarts at 1, View | Header and Footer, click on Format Page Number button on the Header and Footer toolbar, and choose "Continue from previous section." -- Suzanne S.
