I am writing a report and I want to format it so that I get:

1. Heading
1.1 Sun heading
1.1.1 Paragraph
1.1.2 Paragraph

and so on

I can create the Heading and Sub heading but I cannot number the paragraphs
to follow on as shown above.

Thanks for that but I don't think it is what I am looking for. I need to use
headings in order to create a TOC but I cannot link my paragraph numbering to
the heading numbering.
