Word 2007 - Where is Pleading Wizard?
I need to create a pleading with line numbers (28) going down the left side
of the page. I remember in earlier versions of Word there was a pleading wizard available. I can't seem to find that for Word 2007. I thought maybe I could create the line numbering in a header (again as in earlier versions of Word), but I do not see a way to do that. Only one header available, and it's at the top of the page. How can I create a 28-line pleading? Thank you. (P.S. The 28-line pleading template I can download from Office Templates Online does not seem to be in a header. I need the numbering in a different font, and I can change that by changing the Normal style (which the numbering is based on), but then it only shows 27 lines.) |

You can use Word's built-in line numbering, and you can achieve the correct
number of lines by adjusting the page margins and paragraph line spacing (see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BottomLine.htm), but if you want to achieve this the way the Pleading Wizard does it, you need to anchor a text box to the header and put the line numbers in that; see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/AnchorToHeader.htm -- Suzanne S.
