Can't get rid of running header
I have a document with something like a header running down the side of every
page. I'm not sure what it is--I first thought it was a watermark but it doesn't seem to be. I've tried left and right clicking on it, and Word just seems to act like it doesn't exist (not even like when you double click on a header or footer and it takes you to the text). I need to get rid of it before the document goes into layout. Will someone help rid me of this text? Or at least, tell me what it is? Thanks! Suroor |

Can't get rid of running header
If it is repeating on each page of the document, it is likely to be an
object anchored to the header. If you activate the header/footer area, can you then select the object? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "suroora" wrote in message ... Yes, I can! Thanks. I'll remember that in the future.
