Default pdf linked objects only include 1 page

I am using Office Word 2003 SP3

When I insert object and link to a pdf file only the 1st page is included in
my word document.

How do I fix this?

You don't. Objects cannot span pages.
You may be able to break up the PDF into separate paged objects and then
insert the pages individually.

Thanks.

Silly question, why can't they span pages?
Or why can't word pull in multi-page pdfs as multi-objects, each on one page?
