Default what are the shortcut keys to put a line across a page?

I used to either hit Ctrl and another key or Alt and another key to get a
line across a page without having to use lines and connectors on the drawing
toolbar, does anyone know the shortcut???

Type several hyphens and Enter. (When you want to delete it, it's a
paragraph Border.)

Given the number of people here who find themselves with unwanted
