the macro could not be created
when trying to store a macro in documents based on a new template I get a msg
"the macro could not be created". I'm using Word 2000 on XP Home. works fine if i store in All Documents (normal.dot) but i should be able to store it locally in docs based on the new template so i can use the file on different computers right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You should be able to store it in the attached template (the one used for
creating the document normally), in the document itself, or in normal.dot. In which of these are you attempting to store it? -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
