Default Controlling New Document settings in Word 2003 Corporate environme

We have a need to make all new documents have a 1 inch margin. In the past
our firm "managed normal.dot". We have a number of addins and templates in
startup. Our VBA programmer has not found how to address the new blank
document icon and the File | New | New blank document.



I am our technical SME but not the VBA guy on this. Any help on how to
address modifying or attaching a macro to these events would be helpful.
