Default Word 2007 problem - related to opening multiple documents?

I recently had Office upgraded from 2003 to 2007 on my work XP machine and am
having this problem periodically when I open multiple documents (all are
saved in 2003 .doc format, even if created in 2007): when I open an
additional document, it will appear to 'vibrate,' i.e. it very rapidly zooms
in and out (just a tiny bit, like from a 100% view to 99% view). I have to
close all the documents and then reopen it by itself. It appears to be
completely random as to when this occurs and to which documents. [I also have
Adobe Acrobat 8 installed and mention this because I've seen a lot of
references to some compatibilty issues with Word 2007.]

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This sounds like a screen driver issue - see if there's an update available.
Word 2007 and Acrobat 8 get along fine provided all the Acrobat updates are
applied.

Thanks for the idea....I'll look into it and let you know if it worked. I'm
assuming I have all the latest Acrobat 8 updates as it was just installed on
my machine last week.
