when we open new word documents, graph paper lines show but do not print...it
is annoying, how can I get rid of them?????? |

If this is Word 2007 (as is likely), clear the check box for "Gridlines" on
the View tab (these are not the same as table gridlines, which are on the contextual Table Tools | Layout tab). In earlier versions, display the Drawing toolbar, choose Draw | Grid, and clear the check box for "Show gridlines on screen." -- Suzanne S.
