Default Error mdlMainpro

When I open or close any word (ver 2000) document, even a new one, I get the
the following message from Microsoft visual Basic"

Compile error in hidden mocule: mdlMainpro.

As usual the HELP function was anything but.

Hi Steve,

That error suggests you've got a DocuComPDF driver installed, presumably as an add-in. Since it's not working, try uninstalling and
reinstalling the DocuComPDF application.

Uninstalled/installed DocuCom and still have the proble. this only happens
when I open or close Word. do not get the error msg when I open Excel or
Access or Powerpoint.

the Word 2000 HELP screen says something about the module being protected
and I need to unprotect it. what is that all about? I see there is an
'protect document' option under tools but that only applies to the document
not a module.

Suggestions?

Any and all help is appreciated.

Hi Steve,

To completely uninstall the DocuComPDF software, per my previous post, you may need to follow the instructions at:
http://www.pdfwizard.com/ENG/qa/Drv_remove.asp

The DocuComPDF software adds some macro code into the MS Word etc in a template/add-in. It's unlikely you'd be able to access the
vba modules installed by the DocuComPDF software but, if they're not hidden, you'd be able to see them via Ctrl-F11 (which opens the
vba environment).

I also suggest:
.. using the Zeon Corp forum http://www.pdfwizard.com/bbs/ and/or
.. contacting Zeon Corp (http://www.pdfwizard.com/eng/include/index.asp), makers of the DocuComPDF software, for assistance.
