How do I get Word to stop changing the indents on my bulleted lists when I
restart the numbering? So far, the only way I know to fix this is to manually move the indent back, because when I re-apply the style, the indent jumps to the left. I've had this problem in Word 2003 as well. |

Have you defined the indent as part of the numbering rather than part of the
paragraph formatting? -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Lisa" wrote in message ... I don't see where I can adjust the indent in the Bullets/numbering menu. I
have it defined in the Paragraph menu, but when I set the bullet/number, Word either changes my settings in that menu, or it changes the indent, even if it doesn't indicate a change in my Paragraph menu settings. Are you using a specific bulleted style for these paragraphs? Find some
