Default Show this number of Recent Documents

I am not able to change\activate the listing for Recent Documents in the
Display options section of Word. The user is set to local admin on the
workstation, which logs into a windows 2003 Server domain. I have deleted the
Data registry Key and made sure all the updates are installed. When rebooted
the option is still greyed out.

If you are using some Windows utility to clear recent documents that might
explain why Word's recent file list isn't working.
