I work a lot with bitmap files on header and footers.

The system freezes a lot, it wont let me make a selection of commands on the
ribbon area. I have to double click on header area and then click out of
header area to be able to make a selection on the ribbon area.

I use office 2007 professional.

Maybe just because there's not much you can do in a header? Does it
let you format the font?
