I created a document in Word 2003 with a table built in. This table contains
formulas that I can edit in Word 2007. However I cannot seem to add a new formula in a field. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Any help would be greatly appreciated. How are you adding the formula to the table cell? Have you tried the following steps: 1. Position the cursor in the desired cell 2. Open the LAYOUT TAB on the main ribbon 3. The DATA GROUP should be visible on the LAYOUT TAB 4. In the DATA GROUP click where it says: "fx formula" ** If any of the above tools is not visible, you may need to edit the ribbon to make them appear. Ned. |

![]() It's not just you, I the placement of the formula tool is not intuitive. I cannot figure out why the formula group is in the layout tab. I assume most people will look for it in the table tools or developer tab. "Frustrated in NJ" wrote: "Ned23" wrote: "Frustrated in NJ" wrote: I created a document in Word 2003 with a table built in.
