My customer has a word document that is broken into three sections. They want
different numbering for Sections 2 and 3 but the auto number generator is not working properly. If I set it to 1 the number starts at 2. If I set the numbering to 0 it changes to 0. Note this is only occuring in Section 3 of the document. Section 1 Page 1 (No Footer) Section 2 (Footer with Page numbering in Roman Numerals) Page 2 I Page 3 II Page 4 III Page 5 IV Page 6 V Section 3 (Footer with Page numbering in normal numbers) Page 7 2 (2???? WHY DOES IT START AT 2?) Page 8 3 Page 9 4 I have tried to insert page breaks but that doesn't solve it. I also tried some complex method using bookmarking but all I got was confused and very messy footers. |
