I do transcription for a medical lab and have bought a new computer that has
Word 2007. My lifeline is my autocorrect file. Is it possible to copy/transfer my Word 2000 autocorrect to Word 2007? -- C. McConnell |

It is called MSO1033.acl (if you are using US English) and should be in
C:\Documents and Settings\(userid)\Application Data\Microsoft\Office and wants copying to here on your new computer (assuming it's Vista): C:\Users\(userid)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office -- Enjoy, Tony www.WordArticles.com "catmarch52" wrote in message ... Back up the AutoCorrect file in Word 2000 using the macro available from
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...utocorrect.htm. Then use the AutoCorrect.dotm template (in Autocorrect2007.zip) from http://jay-freedman.info to load that document into Word 2007 -- Suzanne S.
