Page Breaking Shaded Headings Leaves Artifact on Previous Page
See the image he
www.brentclearman.com/docheading.jpg The red circle highlights my problem. I did a page break on the Heading titled "Table Manager". Everytime I do a page break on a shaded heading it leaves that bar on the previous page where I did the page break. Very anoying. If I do a page break on a heading with a box around it, nothing. I don't get it. It only leaves the artifact on headings that are shaded. All previous versions of Word did this too. |

Instead of a manual page break, use "Page break before" formatting
(Paragraph dialog box). To choose this option for a selected paragraph, click the Home tab of the ribbon, click the dialog launcher button (on the bottom right) of the Paragraph group. You'll find the option on the Line and Page Breaks tab of the dialog box. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "mglmstr" wrote in message ...
