Autotext 2003 vs 2007
I would like to check with anyone that has automated documents using
autotext. In our line of work we have created autotext and loaded the same to our contract templates. Once copied to the template we created a macro that would unprotect our file, go grab the autotext or language needed and protect the file again. We use to draft the language, highlight it and Insert/AutoText and load it in our normal. Then we would go to the template and go to Toold/Macro/Macros and under organizer there used to be an Autotext tab. We would copy the autotext from our normal to the template. Once the template was protected our Sales people could select an option from a dropdown box and make the macro run...unprotect file/grab language/bring it to the file/protect file. Does anyone know how we can get this accomplish in 2007? I have tried everything I can think of but cannot figure out how to relate or copy the autotext into the template itself as there is no autotext tab under the macros organizer any longer. Thanks. |
