Default ORIGINAL memo date

I just opened a memo dated 1/10/08; however, Word automatically changed the
date to TODAY'S date. I don't want the date to automatically be changed by
Word. What do I need to do to stop this automatic date change?

Default ORIGINAL memo date

Press Alt+F9 to display the field code. Edit it to change DATE to
CREATEDATE. Alt+F9 to toggle back and F9 to update.
