Word 2003 - Read only
Good day,
Just to make sure, I'm going to ask you this: a user sends Word docs to someone in the same office, via Outlook. The recipient opens the document, makes changes, saves it to his Desktop, but the document is now Read-only. Is this possible? I think that the recipient who's saving the document is doing something else (although he swears he does not). Windows XP Any ideas? Thank you! Helen |

I suspect this might be an issue with permissions in Windows, but you may
want to ask in a Windows newsgroup to find out for certain. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Helen" wrote: Good day, Just to make sure, I'm going to ask you this: a user sends Word docs to someone in the same office, via Outlook.
