First select precisely the cells to which you want to apply the new borders.
Then change the borders: You dont tell which Word version you use. In case of Word 2003 or earlier, you can display the Tables and Borders toolbar. In that toolbar you will find a tool immediately to the left of the paint bucket that lets you change the individual borders (click the arrow to the right of the icon). You can also use Format Borders and Shading Borders tab €“ make sure to set €śApply to€ť to €śCell€ť. In case of Word 2007, you will find the Borders and Shading icon e.g. in Home tab Paragraph group (bottom right icon): -- Regards Lene Fredborg - Microsoft MVP (Word) DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "new leaf" wrote: I want to be able to create a table where i use some split cells and I want to be able to change the borders (but only the bottom border) of each one |
