As a follow up to my previous post the Caption problem,
here is an update if anyone knows why, please enlighten me:
My caption numbering works until the 3rd section, then it
becomes 0-1. The previous user ticked Chapter Numbering so
I did the same for my particular section instead of
changing 54 captions. I made sure there were section
breaks between sections/chapters and Same as Previous is
off.

Have you started your section with the same heading style as used in the
other sections? In the caption numbering dialog, have you selected the this
heading style?
