I am trying to use Word 2007 mail merge wizard to produce mailing labels from
an Excel 2007 spreadsheet that contains names & addresses. When I select Use Existing List & Browse to the file location & name (Membership.xlsx) I get an error "Could not find installable ISAM". Clicking OK gets me a Data Link Properties box - which doesn't make any sense to me at all (Earlier Word/Excel was so much easier!) I am the only user on the PC and have full rights. OS is XP - everything is up to date |

I'm having the same problem. Getting the same message. I called Microsoft
and spent 75 minutes with a technician, after which I had to terminate the call to go to a meeting. He still has not been able to fix the problem. He will call me back on Monday to resume the fix.
