header margins
In my document one header has a different lower margin creating the header
space wider. The header from the top of the page is the same. Any suggestions. |

header margins
Under Word Options, Advanced, toggle on Show Text Boundaries, then switch to
the Header view. Magnify if necessary and look for a tiny little empty text box. Select the Text Box and delete it. I'm guessing that someone used the ghastly Page Number button to add a Page Number to the Header and then deleted it. Unfortunately, that ghastly option places the Page Number inside a Text Box. When you later select and delete the Page Number, it does delete the number but not the text box. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "cindy" wrote in message ... header margins
Display nonprinting characters and look for an extra, empty paragraph
(marked by the pilcrow ΒΆ). Delete it. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "cindy" wrote in message ...
