At first, we insert an object, a .mp3 file, in a Word file footer.
And then insert a Windows Media Player object in it,too.

How to set the URL property of this WMP object in order to play this .mp3?

caveatI have no experience with inserting mp3 files into Word
document./caveat

What's your goal of inserting both a WMP object and an MP3? And why in
the footer (that's a pretty complicated place for a user to launch any
OLE file)?

If mp3 is known to the OS (and an OLE driver is registred also), then
there's no need for an additional object in Word.
