I have typed a table. When I sort I get duplicate entries. Why?
Also, I have duplicate entries at the end of the table that have been "lined-out" and I can't get rid of them. Please help! -- ruth |

You have turned on Tracked Changes. When the sort moves entries, it's actually deleting them from one place and inserting them in another, and each of those operations is tracked. First you have to turn off Tracked Changes (Ctrl+Shift+E). Then you have to accept all the changes in the document. See http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trac...ngesWorks.html. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
