Default Relative Fields (Word 2003/2007)

Is there a way to make fields (e.g., links to an Excel workbook in the
same folder as the Word file) relative vice an absolute reference to a
folder?

I am looking for a way to do this that is compatible with Word 2003.

Thanks, Alan

Hi Alan,

To see how to implement relative paths in Word, check out the solution I've posted at:

You'll need the macro method.
