Table of Contents- dot dot settings for page numbering
I have a table of contents and I have used the tab settings to insert the
dots from the text to the respective page numbersfor the text. My question is these dots are fairly close together and I was wanting to space them out a bit. Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it in word version 2003? |

Table of Contents- dot dot settings for page numbering
If you have created your TOC manually, you can space the dots manually by
selecting the tab character and applying Expanded character spacing (Font dialog). If the TOC is generated by a TOC field, this formatting will be removed every time you update the TOC, but you could wait till editing is complete, apply the formatting and then unlink or lock the field. -- Suzanne S.
