I'm pulling my hair out on this one. On my computer (XP), the file
association for JPGs is supposed to open a JPG file in MS Office Picture
Manager, which is what I want. (If I double-click on a JPG file from Windows
Explorer, the file opens properly in MSOPM, so the file association seems to
be working properly.) Hyperlinks in Word 2003 documents, however, open the
JPG files in an IE7 browser window. Urgggh!

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

I don't think you can change what happens when you click a hyperlink from
within Word.
