On WordPerfect, I can print the single page I'm on in a document by clicking
on the printer icon on the toolbar, and getting an automatic window with the printer commands, such as "current page" or "range of pages" to print. In Word, to print a single page, I have to go to the "file" menu, pull it down, click on "print," and then get the same printer command window I get with a single click on the printer icon in WordPerfect. Why does Word make me go through this additional step each time I want to print a single page or range of pages? Can't Word use the same protocol WordPerfect employs for printing a single page or range of pages? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. You can use the Ctrl+P shortcut to open the Print dialog, or you could add a
Print... button to your toolbar. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Ourrias" wrote in message ...
