Default changes to a word document do not show when converted to a pdf

Changes in my Word doc show in red with the comments but when I convert it to
a PDF they are there but are changed to black text without the coments.

Thanks
DCS

Converting to PDF is essentially a print operation. Depending on what method
you use, you may be able to get the changes to print by selecting "Document
with markup" in the "Print what" dropdown in the print dialog.

If you use a method that doesn't go via the Print dialog, try printing to
file with a PostScript printer selected, then convert the PostScript output
to PDF.
