I'm trying to simply divide an A4 page into 3, to individually watermark the

If you're using Word 2007, you'll find this kind of layout as one of the
"Microsoft" branded label definitions (Mailings | Create | Labels | Options
| Microsoft: With Compliments Card); it's for letter but presumably could be
adapted for A4, or you may find something similar under one of the other
vendors. For earlier versions, you can take the same approach, creating a
custom label definition, or just a table with three exact-height rows per
