Default saving a document on network

Hi,
For some reason, when I try to save a document on my network, Word (Office
2003) crashes. Nevertheless I am able to access the netowrk via "My Computer".

Can someone assist me?

UPDATE

Actually, I cannot accesss the network from Word - I cannot open files on
the other computer, for instance. Word just blocks.
