Styles and Formating / Numbering Help!
I am trying to create an outline in Word 2003, and I want to have the
following: 1. Heading 1 1.1 Heading 2 1.1-1 Some Text 1.1.1 Heading 3 1.1.1-1 Some Text 1.1.1.1 Heading 4 1.1.1.1-1 Some Text How would I set this up in the Styles and Formatting? I've set up an "Outline Numbered" list, with level 4 being 1.1.1-1, but now how do i get my Heading 4 to be in the format of "1.1.1.1"? |

Styles and Formating / Numbering Help!
I guess, more specifically, I have an outline set up with headings that go
like this: 1. Heading 1 1.1 Heading 2 1.1.1 Heading 3 If I wanted to put text entries under the heading, that reference the outline number, how can I do it without messing up the numbering of the outline? ex: 1. Heading 1 1-1 Some Text 1.1 Heading 2 1.1-1 Some Text 1.1-2 More Text 1.1.1 Heading 3 1.1.1-1 Some Text 2. Heading 1 etc. |
