Hi - what you need to do is insert continuous section
breaks bewtween the bits you want protected and
unprotected. Then when you come to protect your form,
instead of using the Padlock icon on the Forms Toolbar -
you should use the Tools, Protect option. If you click
on Tools and the Protect item is now showing you can add
it by right clicking, choose Customize and then click on
the Commands Tab. Choose Tools from the list on the
left, then scroll down the list on the right and when you
find Protect Document, click and drag it onto your Tools
menu. Close the customize box. Now click on Tools,
Protect, choose the Forms option, click on Sections and
then you put a tick against the sections you want to
protect. The sections you leave unticked do not get
protected - hope this helps
