Dot template with embedded excel refuses to recognise excel when d
Hi I have a MyWordTemplate.Dot with an embedded 2007 spreadsheet - it was
created in 2007 then the word doc was saved as office 97-2003. I could still edit the excel template. I then tried to save it back as 2007 and (when saved) it says the embedded document was created in excel which is not installed. I ran (office) repair. Still same message. when i try convert (embedded document right click) it says its an excel 2007 object then errors saying it cant find it... V annoying. Google and Bing do not thow up hits that take me forward -- Many thanks in advance best regards Ian |
