WOrd 2003 Pciture Formatting
I have MS Word 2003 on three of our computers and have the same problems on
each: 1. I am unable to select the option for a picture to be formatted "in line with text." All other options are available. How can I fix this? 2. Often, when I insert a photo in a document, the outline of the photo is present (a blank white box with a black thin border) but I cannot see the colorful photo that I intended to insert. If I go into "print preview" or "print layout" I can see the colorful photo, but not in "normal view." The photograph is actually there, but I just cannot see it in normal view. Any thoughts? Thanks. |

1. In some versions of Word, not all objects can be placed "In line with
text." For example, text boxes cannot use that placement option in Word 2003. 2. "Floating" objects (in the drawing layer) are never visible in Normal or Outline views. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Avenir5" wrote: I have MS Word 2003 on three of our computers and have the same problems on each: 1. Perhaps Word 2003 could in fact do this? Avenir5, what kind of picture are you trying to position? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP 2.
