When saving Word 2007 documents to a Windows 2000 server, the documents can
not be re-opened by double clicking on the icon. You have to right click on the document and then choose OPEN to view the document. |

This is a Windows file association issue. Ask in A Windows 2000 Server forum

From the Open With dialog box you should be able to select Word as well as checking the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" option. Grant. . . . |
